Cheema objects senior leaders actions sans congress constitutional sanctity. (Jakhar overstepping )

Chandigarh:18 July 2021-Senior Congress Leader and veteran Trade Unionist M.M.Singh Cheema strongly objected to the “self glorification shows” being put up by certain leaders who are holding responsible positions in Govt. of Punjab & Party and termed these as steps in weakening the party and their deliberate gawdy show in Public is very bad in taste which is strongly disliked by hardcore congressmen.
Terming it a Futile Exercise which sans constitutional sanctity the move of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Sh.Sunil Jakhar to call the meeting of Presidents of District Congress Committees  and MLAs on 19 july 2021 at 3 PM Congress Bhawan Chandigarh without any credible agenda and foresight .Mr.Cheema said as the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee Unit was completely dissolved in January 2020 by specific order of AICC General Secretary incharge KC Venugopal on the directions of AICC President Smt.Sonia Gandhi so there is no District Congress Committee President Office existing as of now.
Regarding calling all MLAs for meeting an over stepping effort as this is sole prerogative of Congress Legislative Party (CLP) Leader which is Chief Minister.
Mr. Cheema has taken up these media utterances and self-glorification efforts by these leaders with Central leadership requesting a strict disciplinary action on people responsible for this party weakening mis management and self surviving tactics.
