CRICKET- Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) finally registered a win on Sunday against Mumbai Indians to break their six match losing streak in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
While both Hardik Pandya (MI) and Andre Russell (KKR) hit superb knocks, youngster Shubman Gill held his own by striking 76 runs in just 45 balls.
"Definitely my best knock in the IPL," said Gill at the post-match press conference. "We were not in a good position coming into this game and it was a must-win game for us. Taking the overall situation into account, can say this was my best knock.”
Mumbai lost the match after they failed to chase a mammoth 232/2 target set by KKR after Russell slammed a 40-ball 80.
