Afghan Taliban attack claims lives of 41 people

According to the officials, on Tuesday, twin suicide bombings and gunfire on a police training centre in Afghanistan's eastern province of Paktia, claimed lives of at least 41 people including the provincial police chief and injured over 200 others.

As per the Khaama Press reports, the dead also included training centre members, police personnel and civilians.

The assault, claimed by the Taliban, took place in Gardez city, 100 km south of Kabul and the capital of Paktia province that borders Pakistan.
