Crackdown on gangsters, After Nehra’s arrest, Mohali police arrests his 5 aides

Mohali Police has been on a drive to nab the gangsters in the state. After the arrest of sharpshooter of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Sampat Nehra on June 6, the Police have arrested his 5 close aides from a farmhouse in Sohana. The Police have also recovered three pistols and two cars, including an i20 used in a crime.

The accused have been identified as Ramandeep Singh alias Bhau of Ferozepur, Shubhnavdeep Singh alias Shubh of Amritsar, Jaspreet Singh alias Jassu, and Gurvinder Singh alias Guri, both of Ambala, and Dinesh Kumar of Churu, Rajastha. One of the accused, Dinesh Kumar is a Naik in the Army. As per the Police Reports, all the accused were facing cases of murder, gunpoint robbery, kidnapping and other crimes in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.

The arrests of Sampat Nehra and other aids have definitely come as a major jolt for dreaded gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who was recently shifted to Bharatpur jail from Jodhpur jail.

Meanwhile, Mohali Police is seeking production warrants for Nehra in connection with the attack on popular Punjabi singer Parmish Verma in Mohali. Presently, Nehra is in seven-day police remand in Panchkula.
