CRICKET- Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar’s 18 year old son Arjun has been named in India’s under-19 squad for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, the Indian Express reported on Thursday.

India’s U-19 team is coached by Rahul Dravid. Arjun will play only in four-day matches and not the one-dayers.

Arjun has quite an experience in India’s U-19 teams. He was part of Mumbai’s Under-19 squad in the Cooch Behar Trophy last season from where he returned with 18 wickets overall with an average of 25.22 for Mumbai.

He was also part of the senior team’s net sessions, watched by India head coach Ravi Shastri and bowling coach Bharat Arun.

The India A team’s tour of Sri Lanka is scheduled for next month.
