Von Trier’s ‘The House That Jack Built’ sees mass walkouts during Cannes premiere

HOLLYWOOD- Controversial filmmaker Lars Von Trier who is making a Cannes appearance after 7 years saw mass walkouts during the premiere of his film ‘The House That Jack Built’.

The film stars Matt Dillon and Uma Thurman in the lead and follows a serial killer’s murdering spree over several decades.

More than 100 people at the premiere on Monday found some of the scenes too disturbing and walked out. But the viewers who stayed till end, gave it a standing ovation.
