LONDON- The BBC has apologized for mistakenly referring to Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The mistake happened during live news broadcasting of Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) last night.
Sri Lankan President was disembarking from his car when BBC host said, “the Prime Minister of India since May 2014 arriving at Buckingham Palace”.
