CRICKET- Indian team led by Rohit Sharma registered a comfortable six wicket win against Bangladesh in the tri-nation Nidahas Trophy match at Colombo’s Premadasa Stadium on Thursday night.

Pacers Jaydev Unadkat and man of the match Vijay Shankar shared five wickets between them to restrict Bangladesh to 139/8.

Chasing 140 for victory, Shikhar Dhawan's 43 ball 55 made sure India achieved the target with eight balls to spare.

It is India's first win in the series. They had earlier lost against hosts Sri Lanka on Tuesday.

Nidahas Trophy is being played to commemorate Sri Lanka's 70 years of independence.
