Kim Jong-un calls for warmer relations with South Korea

PYONGYANG- North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has called for further reconciliation with South Korea after being brought together by Winter Olympics 2018.

Kim Jong-un praised Seoul for its hosting North Korean athletes at the tournament. His sister Kim Yo-jong attended the opening ceremony and was also present the joint Korean team's ice hockey match with South Korean president and other senior leaders.

He also gave "important instructions" on how to "liven up" the "warm climate of reconciliation and dialogue", North Korean state news agency KCNA reports.

South’s President Moon Jae-in also said US has reacted positively to the inter-Korean dialogue and has expressed its openness for talks with the North.
