CRICKETS- England finally managed to win against Australian. The visitors defeated Aussies by five wickets on Sunday in their first match of the five game ODI series.
Australia set a hefty total of 305 for England to win. England opener Jason Roy eased the burden a lot with his 180 runs innings, the highest ever by an England player.
Australian captain Steve Smith praised Roy for his bold knock. “He didn’t give us a chance, and he chanced his arm,” Smith said. “They got off to an absolute flyer and we couldn’t pull them back.”
England made 308 for five with seven balls to spare and clinched the match.
