CRICKET- Former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin dismissed the charges levelled against him by the Hyderabad Cricket Association president G Vivek.
Azharuddin was not allowed to attend HCA's Special General Meeting (SGM) on January 7 and was told he was a proxy and thus cannot attend the meeting.
“They kept saying that I have not registered. I am actually the vice president of the National Cricket Club. The letter is there. It is endorsed by the then [HCA] secretary,” Azhar told reporters.
He further said he has written to Board of Control for Cricket in India about the developments.
