Even after the high melodrama in the Bhartiya Janta Party during the Municipal Corporation Mayoral Elections, the internal aggression within the party veterans continue to be the apple of discord. The dispute between the BJP veteran & Former Union Minister Harmohan Dhawan and BJP state President Sanjay Tandon is not a new thing as both the leaders have been locking horns for a long time. Once again Dhawan has accused Tandon for sidelining him from the party meeting. Ahead of this, Dhawan has even offered to resign from the party.

Owing to the apology letter submitted by New Chandigarh Mayor, Davesh Mougdill, both the senior leaders including BJP MP Kirron Kher and ex-MP Satya Pal Jain have also accused Tandon for defaming the image of the party. It could be seen that the inside rift in BJP is glaring up day by day. Also, MP Kher has held that it was Tandon who had forced Ex-Mayor Asha Kumari Jaswal to file nominations for the Mayoral Poll 2018.

Amid all the allegations, Tandon is of the view that Dhawan was not invited in the meetings because of his overall misconduct in the party. Tandon also accused Moudgill for flip-flopping and writing against him.
