Blind Cricket WC: India win opener against Sri Lanka

CRICKET- India defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in their opening match of the Blind Cricket World Cup in the UAE on Wednesday.

India won the toss and elected to field first. Sri Lanka set a target of 358/8 in 40 overs. Suranga Sampath scored 68 runs and KA Silva 64 for Lanka.

Chasing the win, India's Deepak Malik scored an unbeaten 179 off 103 balls to win the match in 32 overs with the loss of four wickets. Malik was named Man of the Match.
