Panjab University Chandigarh, being the premier Institute of tricity still lacks behind as far as the Administrative works are concerned. The university students have to deal with delays in the declaration of results especially the revaluation results. Panjab University Campus Students Council in this regard has submitted a Memorandum of Understanding to the Dean University Instructions (DUI) demanding the setting up of a committee that will look into the matter and ensure that the results are not delayed.

PUCSC General Secretary Vani Sood asserted that students are facing this problem from a long time. Sometimes, the results are declared after the students re-appear for their respective exams. This further builds an economic pressure on students as not everyone can afford to pay the revaluation charges.

A student from law department, PU asserted that he had already paid the revaluation fees to the authorities, but due to the delay in the result, he had to re-appear for the examination. He further held that when the revaluation result came out, he was declared pass. Pointing towards the laid back attitude of the PU authorities, the student held that he had to pay the fees twice, once for the revaluation and other for reappear. Will the university pay me back the fees, he asked.
