FOOTBALL- Football Association (FA) has fined Chelsea manager Antonio Conte £8,000 (Rs 6 lakh) for disputing with referee near the touchline during the match against Swansea on November 29.

Conte was furious with Swansea as they were wasting time in the match but referee Neil Swarbrick and fourth official Lee Mason did not take any action against them.

He then quarreled with them at the touchline and was immediately told to go back to stands.

Though, Conte later apologised to both Swarbrick and Mason, but it was not enough fort FA to forgive him.

“Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been fined £8,000 after he admitted an FA misconduct charge and accepted the standard penalty,” an FA statement said.

“It follows his sending-off against Swansea City on 29 November,” it concluded.
