KATHMANDU- A plane skid off a recently repaired runway at Nepal’s only international airport in Kathmandu on Friday.

The Yeti Airlines ATR 72-500, arriving into Kathmandu from southern Nepal with 66 passengers, skidded about 15 metres (yards) into the grass. Two people were injured.

Airport’s general manager Raj Kumar Chettri informed that it was taking a long time to remove the plane as heavy rain has made the area muddy.
