CRICKET- Retired Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has lamented about not being able to settle with any single Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise.
Yuvraj played for six teams in his IPL career and was part of two title winning teams – Sunrisers Hyderabad (2016) and Mumbai Indians (2019).
Yuvraj, honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at the 91st annual general meeting of the Indian Chambers of Commerce in Kolkata, rued, “I can’t explain but I was never settled with a franchise...I didn’t really get settled where you are made to play for one franchise or maybe two.”
“I can’t really complain about it. It was great working with all these teams.” he added.
Yuvraj also opened about India’s inaugural World Twenty20 win in which he smashed six sixes in an over against English pacer Stuart Broad.
