World Cup 2019: Dhoni breaks silence on retirement rumours

CRICKET- Mahendra Singh Dhoni has rubbished the rumours of his retirement and taking a jibe at his critics said that a lot of people wanted him to retire before the next World Cup game.

India face Sri Lanka in its final World Cup group match at Headingley, Leeds on Saturday.

On Friday, Dhoni said, “I don’t know when I will retire. But a lot of people want me to retire before tomorrow’s game.

Amid retirement rumours, Indian skipper Virat Kohli, teammates and even Sri Lanka pacer Lasith Malinga have come in Dhoni’s defense. Malinga even backed Dhoni to play for another two-three years.
