TENNIS- Rafael Nadal is just two titles shy from equaling Roger Federer’s all time record of 20 Grand Slams but his uncle Toni claims the Spaniard world number two’s first love will always be football.

In a recent interview, Toni said, “He liked and I think he still likes much more football than tennis. I said that many times. If he had the chance to play for Real Madrid, he would have taken it. But as a kid, he started winning a lot of tennis tournaments.”

After his incredible performance in tennis, football was relegated to backstage and it has been one way traffic ever since.

Nadal on Sunday became the first player to win 12 French Open titles after beating Federer in a one sided match.
