CRICKET- Former India all-rounder Mohinder Amarnath has high hopes from the Indian squad led by Virat Kohli for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup and believes the team has potential and experience but it needs to click at the right time.
The World Cup starts on May 30 and India starts its campaign against South Africa at Southampton on June 5.
“I think we (India) have the potential, we have the players, we have the experience and they have to click at the right time. And whatever they have played and all that, that is in the past, it is fresh tournament, fresh matches and it is like playing like new games, new preparation,” Amarnath said on the sidelines CEAT Cricket Awards 2019.
The 68-year-old has high hopes from all-rounder Hardik Pandya and pacer Jasprit Bumrah.
