Mohun Bagan appoints Kibu Vicuna as head coach

FOOTBALL- Mohun Bagan has appointed Spaniard Kibu Vicuna as its head coach for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. The Spaniard replaces Khalid Jamil as the coach.

"We have spoken with Kibu and he is happy and excited about the challenges of coaching in Mohun Bagan," directors of Mohun Bagan FC, Srinjoy Bose and Debashish Dutta, said in a statement.

He is joining from Polish first division club Wisla Plock and has spent most of his career as an assistant coach to different Polish teams.

Vicuna has worked with some of the great names like former Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui, Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone and Leeds United coach Marcelo Bielsa.
