TENNIS- Swiss 20 time grand slam champion Roger Federer is not sure of playing in Rome Masters after he was ousted from Madrid Open early on Saturday.
Federer was knocked out of Rome Masters quarter-finals after losing to Austrian Dominic Thiem 3-6, 7-6 (13/11), 6-4.
Roma Masters was Federer’s first tournament on clay since 2016.
“I’ll probably only decide on the weekend, but I’m not sure if I’m going to go,” Federer said after the loss.
The organizers of Rome Masters are holding wild card entry for Federer and hope that he will decide to play.
