Former world number one Morten Frost to coach at Prakash Padukone’s academy

BADMINTON- Danish former world number one Morten Frost will train youngsters at Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy (PPBA) over the course of next year.

As part of a private arrangement between Olympic Gold Quest (a non-profit organisation set up by Prakash Padukone and ace cueist Geet Sethi), PPBA and the former world No 1 Frost, he will act as a consultant coach for junior players at the Bengaluru based Academy.

Prakash Padukone is an Indian badminton legend. Talking about Frost, he said, “Morten has tremendous experience as a player, coach and technical director. He has seen badminton over the years when we were playing and he is also very much in touch with the latest developments in world badminton. His experience, insight and technical knowhow will be invaluable for us.”

Olympic Gold Quest also supports two badminton Olympic medallists in Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu.
