CRICKET- New Zealand batting coach Craig McMillan has announced that he will quit as team coach after the 2019 World cup. The World Cup is scheduled to be held from May 30 to July 14 in England and Wales.
McMillan has been at the position for five years and guided New Zealand to reach the final of the 2015 World Cup.
Announcing his decision, McMillan said, “It’s been a privilege to be able to work with the likes of Brendon McCullum, Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor day-in and day-out and to see the records they’ve accomplished has been very satisfying.”
A replacement for McMillan will be announced before the team depart for a tour of Sri Lanka in August.
