India’s famous Surajkund Mela is back for 2019, and here is all that you need to know. This mega affair will start on February 01 and will continue till February 17, and preparations are on in full swing.

Also famous as the International Surajkund Crafts Mela, this fair sees enthusiasts from all over the world and from across the country.

Surajkund also brings together artisans from all over the world and not just India to the fair, especially from SAARC nations. It is expected to host 1000+ artisans this time.

Situated 8 kms away from Delhi in Faridabad, Surajkund or Sun Pool was built by Raja SurajPal in 10th century AD. The place became famous ever since the colourful Surajkund Crafts Mela was started by the Haryana Tourism in 1987.

Every year, the focus is on one state and the theme of the Surajkund Mela is designed as per that state. For the 33rd Surajkund Mela this year, the focus state is Maharashtra and the partner nation for the 2019 Surajkund Mela is Thailand.

Tickets: INR 120 (Weekdays), INR 180 (Weekends)

*There is a 50% discount for differently-abled, senior citizens, serving soldiers, war widows and their dependents. Students can also avail of the same on weekdays, provided they carry valid ID cards.
