Korea Open: Indian campaign ends on opening day, Kashyap, Sourabh lose

BADMINTON- Indian campaign in the Korea Open came to an end on the opening day after Parupalli Kashyap and Sourabh Verma both lost their opening matches.

Kashyap lost 17-21, 21-13, 8-21 to eighth seeded Lee Dong Keun of Korea in an hour and 19 minutes.

Sourabh Verma went down fighting 13-21, 21-12, 18-21 against Finland’s Eetu Heino in a 50-minute clash.

Both Kashyap and Verma are next taking part in Premier Badminton League.
