Mithali Raj Opens Up About Being Excluded From The Team, Says Coach 'Humiliated' Her

Mithali Raj's exclusion from the team has created a lot many controversies already. However, clearing the air and breaking the ice, Mithali wrote a harsh email to BCCI's CEO Rahul Johri and GM Saba Karim.

A letter to BCCI expressing her anger over the 'humiliation' she faced moments before she was dropped from the playing XI of the World T20 semi-final against England.

To make it crystal clear, Mithali Raj was left out from the Indian cricket team which went to an extent that the team lost Women’s World T20 semi-final to England recently in Antigua.

She accused Committee of Administrators' member, Diana Edulji, for being biased against her.

"My issue is with the coach Ramesh Powar," she said.

"To him I didn't exist in the team," Mithali wrote.


Mithali Raj's coach had said that the batswoman was told that she has been axed from the XI during the morning warm-up session of the semi-final clash.
