CRICKET- Australian team defeated England by eight wickets to clinch their fourth Women’s World Twenty20 title.
Batting first, England were bowled out for 105 with two balls remaining in Antigua. Australia chased down the total with 29 balls remaining.
After the loss, England captain Heather Knight said, “We kept losing wickets at key times and weren't able to post a total that was competitive, but I'm proud of the girls for reaching another world final.”
Winning Australian captain Meg Lanning said, "We haven't had the success we would have liked over the last couple of years. The last two World Cups hurt. We've had to change a few things and the group has really embraced that. This is a really satisfying win."
