Tababi Devi clinched India’s first ever Olympics Judo medal

YOUTH OLYMPICS- India’s Tababi Devi on Monday clinched a silver medal in Judo at the ongoing Youth Olympics giving India its first ever medal in Judo at any Olympics level.

The teenager from Manipur clinched a silver in women’s 44 kg judo.

India has now two medals from the Youth Olympics. Earlier in the day, shooter Shahu Tushar Mane had won the silver in 10m air rifle event.

Sports Authority of India also congratulated Tababi on her achievement.
