CRICKET- Indian team led by skipper Virat Kohli thrashed the West Indies by an innings and 272 runs to record their biggest Test win.
India team dominated the match from the very beginning, never giving the visitors a chance to fight back.
India put 649 on scoreboard in their first innings. The team then went on to bowl out the West Indies twice on day three in Rajkot. They were bundled out for 181 in 48 overs and then crumbled to 196 all out in 50.5 overs in the follow-on.
Kuldeep Yadav went on to take his maiden five-wicket haul (5/57) in Tests.
India have now a 1-0 lead in the two match Test series. The second and final Test will be played in Hyderabad from October 12-16.
