Karanveer Kaushal becomes first to score double ton in Vijay Hazare trophy

CRICKET- Karanveer Kaushal of Uttarakhand smashed 202 runs off just 135 deliveries to become the first batsman to score a double century in Vijay Hazare Trophy. His innings contained 18 fours and nine sixes.

Until now, Ajinkya Rahane was the lead scorer with 187 runs.

Uttarakhand posted 366/2 against Sikkim. Vineet Saxena scored a century.

So far, Kaushal has played seven matches in Vijay Hazare Trophy and scored 467 runs. He has scored three centuries with an average of 77.83. He is second behind Puneet Bisht in the leading run-scorer’s list.
