TV- Jane Austen’s unfinished novel Sanditon is now being adapted into a television series by British television channel ITV and American broadcaster PBS.
Austen penned a part of Sanditon a few months before her death in 1817.
The novel follows the story of spirited and unconventional Charlotte Heywood and her relationship with charming and slightly wild Sidney Parker.
Screenwriter Andrew Davies will adapt the 11 chapter novel fragment into eight 60 minute episodes.
The cast of the production is yet to be announced.
Austen is known for her novels like Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey.
