TENNIS- 12th seed Indo-French pair of Rohan Bopanna and Edouard Roger-Vasselin crashed out of Wimbledon on Friday. The pair was trailing 4-6, 6-7(4), 1-2 against unseeded pair of Frederik Nielsen Joe Salisbury when they conceded as Bopanna suffered an injury.
They had lost at the same stage here last year as well.
Only three Indians now remain in men’s doubles draw. Debutants Vishnu Vardhan and N Sriram Balaji and Divij Sharan with his partner Artem Sitak.
The Indian duo of N. Sriram Balaji and Vishnu Vardhan will take on Japan’s Ben McLachlan and Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff in a round of 32 match on Saturday.
