TENNIS- Indian challenge came to an end at the $1.25 million Indonesia Open after both PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy crashed out after losing their respective quarterfinals.

Third seed Sindhu went down 14-21, 15-21 in 37 minutes to Chinese eighth seed He Bingjiao in her women’s singles while eighth seed Prannoy’s campaign ended after losing 21-17, 21-18 in 39 minutes to Chinese third seed Shi Yuqi.

Earlier Saina Nehwal, Sameer Verma bowed out after losing their pre-quarterfinal matches.
