HOLLYWOOD- In a major gaffe, Sony Pictures uploaded an entire movie on YouTube instead of its trailer.
The film in question is the hitman thriller, Khali the Killer. It was mistakenly uploaded on Sony’s YouTube channel on July 3 and was taken down after eight hours when entertainment news website CBR.com reported about the gaffe.
After the incident, the film has been made available on YouTube on a rental basis.
According to IMDb, here’s the synopsis of the film: “After deciding to retire, an East LA hit man decides to take one last job to help support his ailing grandmother’s end of life care. But everything falls apart, when he develops empathy for the targets of his hit, and he’s forced to make the toughest decision of his life.”
Richard Cabral stars as the hitman in the Jon Matthews directed film.
