TENNIS- Australian hot head Nick Kyrgios pulled out of French Open will illness on Friday, days after saying the tournament sucks compared to other Grand Slams.
Kyrgios was due to play British No 2 and world No 41 Cameron Norrie in the opening round at Roland Garros. Norrie ill now play French qualifier Elliot Benchetrit.
Kyrgios last week expressed his disapproval of the clay surface while practicing with British former world number one Andy Murray.
He had said, “Get rid of the clay, man. Who likes the clay it is so bad. The French Open sucks compared to this place. Sucks. Absolutely sucks.”
