QALAT- A Taliban truck packed with explosives exploded near a hospital in southern Afghanistan on Thursday killing at least 30 people and injuring 95 others.
As per local media reports, most of the victims were doctors and patients. The final death toll from Thursday morning's attack in Zabul province is still unclear.
Claiming responsibility for the attack, Taliban said its target was the government intelligence offices, next door to the hospital.
As Afghanistan gears up for national elections, Taliban has been carrying out attacks on a daily basis. On Tuesday, they attacked an election rally killing 26 people.
