In the infamous case pertaining to the murder case of Akansh Sen, nephew of Former Himachal Pradesh CM, Virbhadra Singh, the UT police is still clueless about the prime accused Balraj Singh who is absconding. The UT police have declared Balraj a proclaimed offender. However, it seems like the case is now at the concluding end.
In the latest development, UT counsel Gautam Dutt submitted that the case was fixed for hearing before the trial court on June 3 and 4. He also placed before Justice Gupta’s Bench a status report submitted in a sealed cover by Dutt on the investigation done by the UT police.
The bench headed by Justice Rajan Gupta has fixed the case for further hearing on July 17 for a fresh status report.
The case dates back to February 9, 2017 when an FIR was registered for attempt to murder and another offence under Sections 307 and 34 of the IPC at the Sector 3 police station. Victim Akansh was allegedly hit and dragged under the wheels of a BMW in Sector 9.
